Dove Cottage

Llandissilio Self Catering Accommodation Sleeps 1 to 5, 2 bedrooms £210 to £390 per week

Dyffryn Isaf is a small organic farm in a very quiet valley in rural Pembrokeshire. Stay with us in Dove Cottage, a self-catering holiday cottage, and enjoy listening to the stream, the owls at night and our goats during the day. Enjoy the peace and quiet, without television and only poor mobile phone reception. You can explore the magnificent Pembrokeshire coastline and the Preseli Hills from here. We also offer craft activities.

Dove Cottage - The cottage is part of the farmyard and has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and another with full-size bunk beds. An additional cot and high chair is available. A living room contains a kitchen area and a woodburning stove. There are also games, books and local information. There is a shower room and you can use an utility area with a washing machine. There is a small secluded garden behind the cottage where you can sit and relax or enjoy a barbecue. The cottage benefits from solar hot water, and our solar PV system. When the sun doesn't shine we buy Good Energy (from 100% renewable sources).

The area - We are located in a very rural and hilly area in central Pembrokeshire. Dyffryn Isaf is about a mile down a country lane from the village of Llandissilio.

In the village you find two pubs, a post office and a bakery. You can walk or cycle along the quiet country lanes around us, and within ten minutes you reach the Landsker Borderland Trail, a long-distance walking path. The magnificent coastline is easily accessible, the sandy beaches of Tenby are about 30 minutes drive away, and so is the wilder coast in north Pembrokeshire or Whitesands Bay in the west.

The small town of Narberth is only about five miles away and offers shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, galleries and a local history museum. In general the area offers lots of local arts and crafts and produce. For example the various small cheese makers are gaining a very good reputation. The award-winning organic Cilowen cheese is made in the next village. Potteries and small galleries abound.

Well behaved pets are welcome. We ask guests not to smoke in Dove Cottage. Short breaks subject to availability.
