The charming farmhouse is set in the hills, with a river flowing by in its own valley - Cool Cymru at its best. See the Farm animals and the wild life the Herons are back and we are very close to the Osprey Centre and Ynys Hir RSPB. Feel free to walk the hills and see the wonderful views.

The accommodation

The lounge/dining area has a large open fire place with its original bread oven and salting hole either side.

The l-shaped lounge with its television and video area opens to the dining area. There is also a reading room downstairs.

The spacious kitchen accommodates an oil Rayburn, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave and dishwasher.

The cottage has three very spacious bedrooms - one twin and two doubles. Bedding is provided. The large bathroom has a walk-in shower and bath.

The house is heated with storage heaters. The accommodation has a phone, and a garage is available for your car.

The location

The Farmhouse at Cwmffernol is situated off the A493 the road that leads from Machynlleth to Aberdyfi. Reaching Pennal, proceed to Cwrt, at brow of hill turn right sign posted Happy Valley, proceed on this road for just a mile where you will see the start of a row of bollards. Turn right here, proceed to gate, go through and go to next bridge where you can see the house. Less than 2 mins from main road.
