The B&B is stylishly decorated throughout, staying true to the buildings period features and character. There are many places to visit in Snowdonia with Portmeirion, the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railway and many more wonderful steam trains on our doorstep. 20 min drive to Barmouth Seaside and Bala Lake, 10 mins from the popular Coed y Brenin forestry park for mountain biking, cycling & woodland walks which is also a short distance away from Dolgellau (our local historical town), which is a great example of the natural wonders of Snowdonia National Park. Lovcated on the boarder between North Wales & Mid Wales which are both a walker's paradise for all levels. A stones through from slate mines, castle, arts and crafts, technology, heritage properties, market towns, waterfalls, picturesque views, coastal drives and beautiful gardens. For the more adventurous white-water rafting, kayaking, mountain biking, ziplines, go below, tree top adventures, surfing, horse riding and much more.

Directions - As you approach the outside; the property is on the south side of the A494 and has a clear B&B sign on the entrance but it can come up on you quite quickly. The property is on a bend in the road and has a sharp turning into the property on the right (1/4 mile from Brithdir sign post) if coming from Dolgellau. If you miss the entrance turning there is a layby shortly after the property. There is an even sharper turning in on the left 14 miles from Bala direction (you pass the layby just before the turning) – if coming from Bala it may be advisable to drive further along the road and turn to approach from the other direction.
