Local Area

Broadhaven is a non commercialised coastal village about six miles from Haverfordwest. It has a popular safe sandy beach with rock pools at low tide. It is popular with surfers and windsurfers. Small craft can be launched from the beach. Diving is also popular in the local waters.

A Londis shop on the front is well stocked and sells most things including newspapers, videos, fresh bread and alcohol. It is also the local post office. There is a good pub/restaurant on the front as well as surf hire shop.

There are many local places to visit, including Wales' smallest City of St. Davids, the pretty harbour at Solva and many other fine beaches. There are miles of beautiful walking along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, running only a few minutes away from our apartment. Haverfordwest with its shopping centre is fifteen minutes drive away and Oakwood Theme Park is about half an hour away.

Little Haven, the neighbouring village, which has several fine restaurants, is easily reached along the beach at low tide. Please contact us if you would like any clarification of these points or further information.
