Goldcliff, Newport
The Caldicot and Wentlooge Levels are at about the same level as high tide in the Severn Estuary, and are criss-crossed by a network of drainage channels, or 'reens'. This one, close to the village of Goldcliff, runs into Goldcliff Pill.
