Cowbridge, Vale of Glamorgan

Originally the home of the Thomases of Llanmihangel, The Bear dates in part from the 12th Century. Formerly a coaching inn, this is where the horses where changed on the Cardiff to Swansea mail coach. These days it's the main hotel in the centre of Cowbridge offering good food and accommodation on a B&B and self catering basis.
