In the beautiful Dysynni Valley at the south of the Snowdonia National Park, Glan Morfa Bach has spectacular views of the mountains, including majestic Cader Idris, and as it is at the end of a quiet lane there is no passing traffic.
Relax in our peaceful gardens, see buzzards and the occasional red kite, badgers in the field, and enjoy the tranquility of our scenery. Nearby are lovely walks, the stunning ruin of Castell de Bere, a choice of sandy beaches, sea and river fishing, and the Centre for Alternative Technology.
Glan Morfa Bach Cottage is very light and spacious. On the ground floor is the beamed kitchen which has long refectory table and chairs, opening to the large living room which has sofa and easy chairs, and a woodburner. Bath and shower room, a single bedroom and a large double bedroom with back door to garden.
On the first floor is a twin-bedded (or can be kingsize double) attic room, reached by steep pine staircase from sitting room. Limited headroom, curtained Velux window.
Logs for woodburner included. Off peak central heating with afternoon boost. Use of washing machine and freezer. Microwave, television and DVD. All bed linen provided. Large gardens. Ample parking. Sandpit, treehouse, place to light open fire for cooking. We operate a non-smoking policy.
The Pad is an attractive small cottage for two. It has a shower room with wc, pine kitchen dining room on the ground floor, and upstairs a bed sitting room with spectacular views, two easy chairs, television, DVD and books. It's a really relaxing place to spend a holiday. Great for honeymoons too. Just as welcoming as the larger cottage.
