Tan-Rallt

Tan-Rallt is located in the picturesque award winning village of Beddgelert opposite the Afon Glaslyn, in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park.

It's just a few minutes' walk from the village amenities which include a store, a post office, three pubs, several restaurants and cafes and an award-winning ice cream parlour. It also boasts private parking with secure bike storage at the rear of the property.

The accommodation

The cottage makes an ideal centre for a relaxing or active holiday as its setting provides easy access to paths up Snowdon, yet is only 8 miles from the coast and a mile from the Beddgelert Forest. You can walk, bike ride, horse ride, climb, canoe, sail, play golf, fish or just relax.

Downstairs is a lounge diner with comfy seating, table and chairs and a log-burning stove. Logs are supplied. There is a 40" flat screen tv with freeview and a dvd and cd player are provided.

The fully equipped fitted kitchen includes a gas hob, an electric oven with extractor fan, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and washer drier. There is plenty of storage space and a full compliment of all the usual crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and other kitchen utensils. All cleaning equipment and tea towels are provided.

The downstairs bathroom has a corner bath, separate electric shower, basin and wc.

Stairs from the lounge lead upstairs where there is a bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe space, dressing table and small en-suite with electric shower and wc.

The second bedroom has twin beds with wardrobe space and drawers.

The location

Pleasant location with space to the rear of the property. The river Glaslyn is very close (60 Yards) to the bridge, access to National Park and National trust, well maintained paths. 400yds to village centre .

Our area

Excellent location for outdoor activities, world class scenery and mine within 1kilometer,Forrest trails,clear rivers and mountain lakes with salmon and trout. Osprey nesting within four miles. Sherpa bus service ,stop ten yards from the property, this service gives access to all Snowdon paths (Acircular route).

Visitors Book for past 8 years as a holiday cottage previously my home. All entries very favourable no complaints many regular guests.

Main roads in to the National park area: A5, A55,A470. Pertinent to Beddgelert from the A5 at Capel curig turn left on to the A4086 to Pen y Gwryd A498 Magnificent Vistas to Beddgelert. A55 - A5 Junction Llandegai turn left short distance toA4244 keep on the A4244 Turn Left on to A4086 Llanberis to Pen y Gwryd turn Right on the A498 to Beddgelert ,Tan rallt is on the right the last cottage . A470 straight on past the old nuclear power station on to the A487 to Porthmadog by pass roundabout Sign posted for Beddgelert A498 over the village bridge turn right on the A498 400 yds cottage is on the left last of the row.

Notes

All bed linen and towels are provided.

The cottage is fitted with some night storage heaters and electricity is included in the cost. Logs for the wood burner provided.

Dogs are welcome, but please note that Tan-Rallt is non smoking.
