This is a popular viewpoint, looking down Cwm Dar to the village of Cwmparc which adjoins Treorchy in the Rhondda Fawr valley, from the junction of the A4061 which continues down Ogmore Vale and the A4107 which descends into the Afan Valley towards Neath and Port Talbot.
