Trehafod, Rhondda Cynon Taff

One of two preserved winding engines at the Rhondda Heritage Park, near Pontypridd. Formerly the Lewis Merthyr Colliery, it is now a popular visitor attraction which brings back to life the era when coal mining was the mainstay of the economy in the South Wales Valleys.
