Started in 1295, the construction of Beaumaris Castle was never finished. It was the last and largest castle which King Edward I built in Wales. Now a UNESCO World Heritage site, Beaumaris Castle is operated by CADW, and is one of the most popular attractions on the Isle of Anglesey.
