Walkers descend Dinas Oleu, Barmouth. Dinas Oleu was the first property given to the National trust following its founding in 1895. This four and a half acre stretch of rugged hillside above the town of Barmouth - to which a further 13 acres have since been added - was donated by Mrs Fanny Talbot of Ty'n y Ffynnon. On a clear day, almost the entire length of the West Wales coast - from the Llyn Peninsula to the Preselis in north Pembrokeshire - can be seen from Dinas Oleu.
