Hen Dy-aderyn cairns, marked by an OS trig point, are at the summit of Twr Pen-cryn above the Usk Valley to the north and the 'Heads of the Valleys' to the south. From here the expanse of moorland seems almost endless. On the horizon are the peaks of the Brecon Beacons.
