Bala, Caernarfonshire and Merionethshire
The gentle slope of Ffrid y Coed descending towards the Tryweryn Valley above the point where it flows into Llyn Celyn. The jagged end of the ridge is the work of mankind rather than nature, as this is where the Arenig gravel quarry used to be.
