Doldowlod, Powys
Easily reached on foot from where the tarmacked road turns into a byway near a house called Hodrid which is close to the Wye, the summit of Trembyd stands high above its surroundings and there are great views in most directions. This view is north along the valley of the Wye. In the foreground is Doldowlod, where a caravan site, pub and garage are to be found. Close to this is the village of Llanwrthyl. Rhayader, hidden behind the quarried hill on the right, is just a couple of miles north of here.
