Turn off the winding B road which runs east along the Teme Valey from Knighton at Lloyney, take the lane across the bridge and which marks the border between England and Wales (or Powys and Shropshire to be more precise), turn off onto an even quieter back lane and you'll come across Black Hall Farm, where in recent years a number of holiday lodges have been built in the farm's 'home meadows'. A leisure complex, with pool, sauna and games room completes the picture. This is a totally secluded setting, just below Offa's Dyke, but not off the beaten track: the renowned 'Waterdine' restaurant is about half a mile away, Knighton about 5 miles and Ludlow about 20 miles.
