Hay-on-Wye, Powys
This is Lion Street in Hay-on-Wye, where a lone visitor is window-shopping at 'The Limited', one of Hay's original secondhand bookshops. Originally a butcher's, this cavernous emporium holds all sorts of old printed material, from pulp fiction to 1948 editions of 'The Beano', and everything in between. It's surprisingly easy to while away an afternoon here.
