One of the many remnants of the Wye Valley railway line is the bridge which carried the track across the River Wye to the wireworks. Unfortunately by the time the railway was complete the wireworks had ceased trading! However, the bridge still serves a very useful purpose, by making the English side of the river accessible on foot from the village of Tintern.
