Atop the porch of Penallt Old Church is this sundial, a rather hit-or-miss way of telling the time (no good if the sun isn't out!) Bearing in mind that it isn't possible to adjust such devices for British Summer Time, it appears to be providing a reasonably accurate guide: the time was 2.43pm when this photo was taken.
