Llandrindod Wells, Powys
At the western end of Rock Park, these former shops, of strangely tiny proportions, are a reminder of Llandrindod's Victorian heyday as a spa town when many visitors came to take the waters. The shops are now houses, anyone trying the waters would conclude that doing so is an unedifying experience, and the Rock Park is a sadly run-down shadow of its former self, mostly used by locals as a place to walk their dogs.
