One of three runways at Dale Airfield on the Pembrokeshire coast. Most of the buildings are long gone, but the concrete runways and taxi-ways remain. Dale Airfield opened in 1942 and was a base for Wellington bombers which targetted submarines in the Atlantic, and sea ports. The base was closed in 1950.
