Standing at the foot of Foel y Mwnt, a 250ft hill on the Ceredigion coast, the Church of the Holy Cross at Mwnt dates back to the 13th Century, and is on a site where a church has stood since the 6th Century. On the route to Bardsey Island and Saint Davids, it was a resting place for pilgrims travelling to these holy sites.
