Gethin Lodge

This renovated miners' cottage, built in 1865, is close to the entrance to Bike Park Wales, a popular cycle track, in the rural village of Abercanaid on the edge of the Brecon Beacons, 3 miles from Merthyr Tydfil and 22 miles from Cardiff.

Beacons View sleeps up to four people in one family bedroom. It has a fitted kitchen, living/dining area and shower room. Balcony to sit out on. Wash room and bike lock up. spacious parking, barbecue and large grounds.

Winchfawr Lodge

Great for breaks, our area has superb scenery and is steeped in history. Close to Merthyr Tydfil, the Brecon Beacons are on our doorstep, ideal for hill walking or cycling. Within easy reach by car are the many attractions of South Wales.

This bunkhouse in the heart of the Brecon Beacons is anything but basic. Well equipped and comfortable self catering for large groups, it's a great base for exploring the national park - the mountains start from your front door.
