Rhoscolyn, Isle of Anglesey
A sheltered cove backing onto dunes, protected on both sides by rocky headlands, Borthwen is a sandy beach near the village of Rhoscolyn on Holy Island, Anglesey. It's worth getting here early and leaving late as the road from the village is very narrow with few passing places, and there isn't a great deal of parking. There are toilets in the car park.
