Capel Cartref

A spacious, detached Holiday Let, once a chapel, now a 5 bedroom house. Situated close to Bannau Brycheiniog and the Black Mountains, in the valley of Cwmtwrch. One mile from Ystradgynlais, the bustling town full of shops and cafes. With it's enclosed garden, families and discerning groups can gather safely and comfortably. The ground floor has widened doorways and two double bedrooms and a wet room for easy movement between rooms. The entrance to the home is 'step free' allowing for independent access. There is private parking at the rear of the building, along with a space immediately at the front, on the road.

The accommodation

A spacious renovated chapel, accessible with enclosed garden, decking and balcony area for the river views. The chapel is larger than the photos show. Please check reviews on various large s, ie AirB, Google. Situated next to River Twrch, the location is peaceful and close to nature and wildlife.

The location

Based close to Bannau Brycheiniog and the Black Mountains and Ystradgynlais. An idyllic setting for walkers, cyclists and bikers with it's smooth roads, and accessible walking routes. Ystradgynlais is a short drive away, a location with plenty of cafes and bakeries. With regards to accessing idyllic beauty spots, Capel Cartref is positioned perfectly.

Our area

The Crown Inn restaurant is situated within 500 yards of the chapel, their menu is accessible from their . The Tradegar Arms is approximately one mile from the building, they serve traditional home cooked food. Maps of walks and cycle paths close by are available at the chapel for all visitors.

Travel info

There is parking at the front of the chapel, a kerb free space on the road. A ramp leads to the double front door, allowing smooth access for wheelchair users. Also, at the rear of the chapel is private parking space for 3 - 4 cars. For non drivers, Neath Railway Station is approximately miles from the chapel. Station Square, Windsor Road, Neath Port Talbot SA11 1BY.

Swansea Station is a little further at miles. High Street Swansea SA1 1NU.

Notes

We have cyclist storage in the cellar should people wish to bring their bikes. We are graded by Visit Wales and have been awarded for being 'cyclist', 'walker', 'film' and 'pet' friendly. We have lots of reviews on AirB, a few on Google and Vrbo, FreetoBook and Simply Direct. We had 158 on but they stopped supporting Self Catering properties. We have been in the business since 2010 and rarely get lower than 5 star reviews, the lowest being a 4 star...
