Sheltered in the hillside near the coast with views over the Teifi Estuary, this delightful, listed 19th-century cottage at Saint Dogmaels, Cardigan, provides comfortable, cosy accommodation. Less than 2 miles from the beach and Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.
The stable door leads into the kitchen/dining room. Here we have a pine dining table and chairs. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric cooker, microwave oven, fridge with freezer box, washing machine and tumble drier. There are two storage heaters in the kitchen/dining area.
The lounge is heated with a woodburning stove and has a comfortable two-seater sofa, chair, TV/DVD combi, selection of books and a good range of local information and leaflets.
The shower room has a double shower, toilet, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.
FIRST FLOOR. A ladder staircase leads to a Gallery Bedroom with a romantic, curtained double box bed which will be made up ready for your arrival.
The back door of the cottage leads onto a gravel area with two chairs and a table. There is also a pretty garden to the fore of the cottage which has a garden seat.
Bed linen is provided and made up ready for your arrival. Please bring your own towels.
Maes yr Afon is an ideal location to explore both North Pembrokeshire and Cardigan Bay.

St Dogmaels has a village shop, Post Office, Fish and Chip shop, Heritage Centre, village pub, Art Gallery, a working Water Mill where a wonderful selection of flour is made and every Tuesday morning the very popular Local Producers Market is held by the ruins of the 12th Century Abbey.
Poppit Sands nearby is popular for water sports kayaking and coasteering and is also the start of the 186-mile Pembrokeshire Coastal Path where you can witness some breathtaking views and enjoy spectacular walks. Cardigan Bay is home to a wide selection of Marine wildlife including bottlenose dolphins.
Cardigan Town situated miles away has a selection of shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and takeaways.
Parking for one car in a shared car park. The cottage is accessed by steps from the car park.
Two well-behaved dogs are welcome at an extra charge of £10 each per week. There is no smoking at the cottage. Free wifi. Winter breaks are preheated. Electric, background heating and one basket of logs are inclusive. More logs are available to buy locally.
