The accommodation

Coronavirus Info & FAQ

Prior to your arrival we will clean the caravan to the best of our ability to reduce the risk. We will clean and disinfect all surfaces and high traffic areas. We will adopt a two phase cleaning strategy - starting with hot water and detergent and then a double clean of the same surface with anti-viral product.

ULV Fogging

ULV fogging in conjunction with our new intense cleaning programme will ensure a fully cleansed and disinfected environment. Our ultra-low volume (ULV) fogging machine uses large volumes of air at low pressures to transform the virucides into droplets that are dispersed into the atmosphere.

Similar to a mist, the microscopic droplets containing the virucide cleaning agent reach even the most secluded areas and evenly land on surfaces. Within an hour, the droplets will air dry on their own leaving disinfected surfaces.

We will use this machine before and after we clean to ensure that every surface is disinfected before guests enter the caravan.

Our caravan is cleaned between guests using the industry approved Covid Cleaning Protocols and a checklist completed and left for guests to see. After cleaning and maintenance has been completed, all surfaces and touch points (door handles, light switches etc) are then disinfected with an approved virucidal cleaner and we employ a no-entry policy, meaning no-one else enters until the next guests arrive.

All bed linen and towels are removed then stored for 72 hours before being professionally cleaned at 60 degrees. All pillows, mattress covers and duvets are removed, bagged and sealed then professionally cleaned if necessary or aired for at least 72 hours before being used again.

All crockery and cutlery are cleaned in the dishwasher or sink between guests, regardless of whether it has been used. The handles of all pans and cookware are also wiped over with virucidal cleaner.

All soft furnishing, leaflets, games, books, magazines and any additional crockery and cutlery has now been removed as there is no way to safely clean everything between guests

We are using a contact-less check in process for arrivals, so when new guests arrive they will find the keys and all necessary information ready for them to enjoy their stay.

What we require guests to do

At the end of their stay we are asking all guests to strip the used bed linen themselves and place it in the laundry bag provided ready to be removed from the caravan, an additional bag will also be provided for towels. We are also asking all guests to remove all rubbish and recycling from the caravan before checking out. The keys can be left on the table

Additionally, due to the amount of additional cleaning and work required to safely prepare between guests, we are asking guests not to arrive before 4pm and to leave promptly at 10am or before so that we have enough time to do everything that is required.

Where possible during your stay, try to air the caravan. Window's / doors open to allow air to circulate.

We will have all windows and doors open whilst cleaning and until your arrival.

You must NOT travel to Anglesey if you are showing any symptoms of Covid-19. If you develop any symptoms during your stay, you & your group must immediately leave the property, inform us by text and return home to self isolate.

CLEANING

We have provided a selection of cleaning products in the caravan. Please use these during your stay. Keeping surfaces and high traffic areas clean as you stay will help reduce risk for all.

When it comes to preventing the spread of germs, it helps to understand the difference between cleaning and sanitising. Cleaning is the act of removing germs, dirt, and impurities (like when you use a soapy sponge to wipe off a visibly dirty counter or stove top). Sanitising is when you use chemicals to reduce the number of germs and bacteria. By cleaning first, then sanitising, you can lower the risk of infection.

You must NOT travel to Anglesey if you are showing any symptoms of Covid-19. If you develop any symptoms during your stay, you & your group must immediately leave the property, inform us by text and return home to self isolate.

Coronavirus Info & FAQ - Guests Displaying Symptoms

Official Guidance:

If a guest is displaying signs of the Covid-19 virus while staying in overnight accommodation for a permitted reason, they should inform the accommodation provider, immediately self-isolate where they are to minimise any risk of transmission, and request a test. If they are confirmed to have Covid-19, they should return home if they reasonably can. If a guest cannot reasonably return home (for example because they are not well enough to travel or do not have the means to arrange transport), their circumstances should be discussed with an appropriate health care professional and, if necessary, the local authority. Guests should follow government guidance on dealing with possible or confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) infection.

If a guest show any signs of having the virus then they must immediately go and get tested by contacting #

Once tested, we will need to see the test result, and if positive the guest must leave immediately leave along with any other members of their family or group, even if they have booked to stay longer.

If the guest is unable to leave, for example being the only driver and unfit to drive, the guests must remain isolated in the caravan for as long as required, however if the guest need to stay beyond their booked period, they will become liable for all additional costs incurred, including any refunds to other guests who's bookings get cancelled as a result.

We will need also need to collect names, telephone numbers and addresses of everyone in the guests group, to pass onto the NHS Test and Trace if requested. This information will not be used for any other purpose.
