The Granary Cottage is a mile from the picturesque village of Shirenewton, where you will find three village pubs. A little further in distance (approx. 4 miles) you will find the the towns of Chepstow and Caldicot.
The Granary is a recently converted stone barn in the traditional Welsh Longhouse style. The accommodation is accessible, and you can unload your luggage directly outside. There is wheelchair access to the rear of the cottage.
The cottage has an open plan layout, with a generous kitchen and lounge area. There is also a ground floor cloakroom with wc and basin. It has a wood burning stove, and logs are provided for no extra charge when required. There is also a heater in the kitchen area for instant heat.
Modern appliances include a digital tv, dvd player, cd radio, toaster, microwave, electric hob and oven with grill, washing machine, fridge, freezer, iron and hairdryer. Wifi is available for no extra charge.
Upstairs are three bedrooms - a double and two singles. There is also a put up z-bed which is downstairs in the open plan kitchen/dining area.
There is a shower room with basin and wc.
There is a well equipped games room with table tennis, a darts board and pool table, and a selection of board games and a Playstation 2 with various games.
An outdoor hot tub is also available on request.
Children are more than welcome and there is a safe, contained play area at the front of the cottage.
