The Fforest Inn is a 16th century Drovers Inn set in the beautiful Radnorshire hills almost equal distance between Builth Wells, Llandrindod Wells and Kington. Steeped in history, it has offered a welcome rest for many-a-weary traveller. With stunning views, wood burners and traditional home cooked food, you can't ask for much more from a local pub. Food is sourced wherever possible from local suppliers with everything cooked in house, from hearty pies through to amazing cakes and puddings. Packed lunches are available for guests wanting to take advantage of the amazing country walks or rides.

The area offers a wealth of activity. Only 20 minutes from the beautiful Elan Valley and on the edge of Offas Dyke the scenery is indisputably stunning. Local places of interest such as Hergest Croft and Abbey-Cwm-Hir are well worth a visit too.
A plethora of local events means something is always going on. The Royal Welsh Show is only 15 minutes away. Or perhaps the Smatcher Hill Climb where pre-1920s cars are forced to ascend a steep mud track. Or even bog-snorkeling. There is something for everyone.
