It's 4 miles from the villages or Sarn and Aberdaron, 7 miles from Abersoch - all of which have shops and eateries - and 11 miles from Pwllheli which has supermarkets a wider range of services.
Llwynfor has recently been fully refurbished to provide spacious, modern and well-equipped holiday accommodation. Sleeping up to 14 people in 6 bedrooms, it's the ideal house for a get-together of family or friends.
The house stands in its own spacious grounds, where there's plenty of parking space, and several sitting areas. The former garage now houses a spacious games room with table tennis, darts board, air hockey and football table, as well as a secure storage for bikes and other outdoor gear.
Accommodation: the ground floor
On the ground floor is the exceptionally spacious kitchen, equipped to comfortably meet the needs of a large group with two overs, a large hob, two dishwashers, a larder fridge and larder freezer, plus a microwave,coffee machine, toaster, kettle and plenty of utensils, crockery and cutlery. There are two large dining tables with together will comfortably a full house of guests, and the kitchen island can also be used as a breakfast bar. Glass panels and sliding doors offer wonderful views from the kitchen, and open out onto the large patio area where you'll find outdoor furniture and a barbecue.
The kitchen and sitting room share a double-fronted woodburner, for which a supply of kindling and plenty of logs are provided.
The living room, which retains its original tiled fireplace, provides additional sitting space, and has a television and dvd player.
The ground floor bedroom benefits from the sea view, and has patio doors which open onto the garden. It's a family bedroom, with a kingsize bed and a bunk twin. This bedroom has its own en-suite wet room, and there's also a further wet room on the ground floor.
The washing machine and tumble dryer are to be found in the utility room, where there's also space for coats and boots.
The first floor
There are four bedrooms on this floor - two with kingsize beds, one with a double bed, and one twin. There's also a bathroom, and a separate shower room.
The second floor
Up in the roof, hence limited headroom on the stairway, is a twin bedroom, a shower room and a small sitting area with tv.
What to do while you're here
The Llyn Peninsula, North Wales, is one of the most unspoilt parts of Wales, with plenty of wild countryside and a wonderfully varied coastline. Nearby, both Aberdaron and Abersoch have a good choice of shops and places to eat out.
Golfers will be spoilt for choice, with courses at Abersoch, Pen-y-Berth, Nefyn, Pwllheli and Criccieth.
There are many beaches including Hell's Mouth, popular with surfers, over which Llwynfor looks, Aberdaron, Porthdinllaen, Whistling Sands and Nefyn.
Further afield, there are Welsh castles, steam railways and mountains to scale or marvel at, all within an hour's drive.
