With its wide expanse of sandy beach and Blue Flag status, the pretty coastal village of Broad Haven has long been a magnet for young families and bathers. Its central location and proximity to the coastal footpath makes it the perfect place from which to explore this stunning stretch of the west Wales coastline.
The bay is ideal for watersports and most equipment such as kayaks, surfboards and fishing gear etc can be hired in the village.
Ramblers and walkers are well positioned for the Pembrokeshire coastal footpath - 186 miles long and recently voted one of the best walks in the world by Lonely Plreaders - which can be picked up along the seafront. Head north towards Druidston or south through Little Haven towards St Marloes and Martins Head, where boat rides can be taken out to Skomer island.
The village itself is well-stocked with convenience store/post office pub and several restaurants and cafes. In the centre of the village is a small 'nature trail' with pond, ducks and picnic area and the nearby Haroldston Woods is also worth exploring. At low tide, the neighbouring cove of Little Haven is just a short stroll across the beach.
Sorry, no smoking or pets.
Bed linen and towels provided along with welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and Welsh cakes plus many kitchen and bathroom basics to start your holiday off.
