Cosy, luxurious, characterful self catering cottage with large log fire and central heating throughout. Comfortable couches to snuggle up in front of the fire, digital tv service, dvd and cd players, ipod docking station and free broadband access are all provided.
The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped with an integrated ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave and fridge. It is very well-equipped for even the most ambitious chef. Free broadband access (wired and wireless) is also provided. Sit on the couch or at the dining table and watch the countless birds on the bird feeders at your doorstep.
Upstairs is a large pretty bedroom with exposed A-frames, a very comfortable kingsize bed, and that extra special double-ended rolltop bath (bubbles provided). There is an additional double box-bed at the other end of the bedroom with panels on three sides and curtains to the fore. Children just love this "princess bed" which has a full size double memory foam mattress so adults quite enjoy it too.
There is a separate en-suite shower room with electric shower and fluffy towels.

Surrounded by 16 acres of private farmland, woodlands, gardens and orchards, Wig Farm is the perfect haven. With lots of sunny and shady spots to sit or barbecue you can easily while away the days in pure peace and quiet. The array of wildlife is amazing with woodpeckers, squirrels, foxes, badgers, red kites, owls, buzzards, kingfishers, herons and woodcock all visiting regularly. A short walk to the coast brings cormorants, peregrine falcon, chough, skylarks, kittiwakes and of course the famous dolphins and grey seals.
We have direct access to the woodland path to the beach and coastal path so you can leave the car behind and just enjoy this magical area at your own pace.
With miles of spectacular coastline to explore and at least 10 stunning beaches within 15 minutes, dolphins and seals to watch for, castles, historic sites, and market towns to visit, you will never run out of things to do. Visit the local produce market or farm shop to stock up on a huge variety of award-winning local produce. Alternatively visit our local pubs and excellent restaurants for a friendly welcome and some great local food and drinks too.
