Pant Y Cae farm, is nestled in the foothills of Cadair Idris close to Cregennan Lakes in Southern Snowdonia, North Wales.
Our aim is to provide good quality, sustainable holiday accommodation all year round.
Y Derwen Lodge offers an off-grid holiday, with renewable energy supplied by solar and wind energy. Hot water and central heating are provided by a highly efficient gas combi boiler.
Pant Y Cae Cottage offers the more conventional holiday however, as in the Lodge low energy light bulbs and ecological cleaning agents and fair trade products are used to maintain sustainability. Both accommodations have natural woollen throws on the beds made from the wool of our own sheep, spun in Wales.
We also have a caravan and camping site, with electric hookups available, shower, wash basins and washing up sink.
If you wish to travel to Pant Y Cae by public transport the nearest bus stop is in the village of Arthog and the train station is at Fairbourne. Both are within walking distance.
Whether you are looking to explore the beautiful countyside, take advantage of the numerous local attractions or simply relax in our beautiful surroundings, Pant Y Cae is the ideal destination.
From Pant Y Cae the natural wonders of Wales are within easy reach. Ranging from one of the highest mountains in Wales (Cadair Idris) to the Mawddach Estuary which winds it way from the historic town of Dolgellau to the beaches of Barmouth and Fairbourne.
