Ysgubor Hen Cottage is looked after and maintained by the owners to ensure you have everything you need for a perfect break.

The market town of Cardigan is five minutes' drive away, where you will find plenty of individual shops, butchers, bakers, market, cafes, restaurants.

The accommodation

On entering you will find a vaulted, spacious living, kitchen and dining area with a wealth of beams and traditional features. There are two sofas and an armchair, flat screen tv with dvd and cd player. A wood burner in the centre gives character, being overlooked by the galleried bedroom.

The well equipped kitchen/dining area has dining table and chairs, electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. Down two steps are the double bedroom with king size bed and bathroom with bath, shower, washbasin and wc.

A staircase leads to the galleried 'crog loft' bedroom again with beams and a vaulted ceiling, two single beds and one pull out single bed. The twin beds can be zipped together to make one super king-size double if required.

The cottage has its own private garden overlooking the countryside. There is also a storage shed for bikes along with a barbecue.

Books and games, including a supply of buckets and spades. We have also provided a selection of maps, guides and local information to help you enjoy your stay.

There is parking for two cars by the cottage.

The cottage is available as no smoking accommodation only, and due to the quiet and peaceful location, we regret that it is not suitable for stag or hen parties.

The location

St Dogmaels is a short ten minute walk down the hill and is famous for its 12th Century Abbey and award winning Local Producers' Market. Within the village there is a shop, post office, fish and chip shop, and several pubs serving good local food.

Notes

A travel cot and mattress with sheet is available on request along with a baby booster seat.
