This delightful converted barn has loads of character, and is close to the Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion coastal path, with all its beautiful wildlife and golden beaches.
The accommodation comprises: On the ground floor, an extremely spacious living area with kitchen and diner with central wood burner. The sitting area has two sofas and an armchair, a flat screen tv with dvd and cd player. The fully equipped kitchen/dining area has dining table and chairs, electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. Down two steps are the double bedroom with king size bed and bathroom with bath, shower, washbasin and wc.
Open-tread stairs lead to the 'gallery' twin bedroom with two single beds (plus pull-out bed, which makes this a versatile room - ie can be made up as either two to three singles).
The cottage has its own private garden overlooking far-reaching countryside views.
There is parking for two cars by the cottage.
St Dogmaels is famous for its 12th Century Abbey and award winning Local Producers' Market. Within the village there is a shop, post office, fish and chip shop, and several pubs serving good local food.
The traditional market town of Cardigan is five minutes drive away, where you will find plenty of individual shops, butchers, bakers, famous market, cafes, restaurants etc.
Ysgubor Hen Cottage is looked after and maintained by the owners to ensure you have everything you need for a perfect break.
The cottage is available as no smoking accommodation only, and due to the quiet and peaceful location, we regret that it is not suitable for stag or hen parties.
We have provided a selection of maps and local guide books in the cottage, together with plenty of local information.
