Rhyd Farm

This Atlas Redwood Super 35ft x 12ft caravan has 2 bedrooms and sleeps up to four. Set in its own private garden, there is plenty of parking space for vehicles and/or boats.

Rhyd Farm is a lovely smallholding at the foot of Parys Mountain. It's a peaceful spot where you can relax and take life easy. We sell fresh free range chicken eggs (subject to availability). On arrival we provide a welcome pack, which includes the basics that you'll need - bread, eggs, bacon, tea, coffee, sugar, butter and oil.

The accommodation

The caravan is in its own gravelled front garden, with picnic table and chairs. It has lovely views over the local countryside and to the famous copper mine on Parys Mountain. It is enclosed by a wooden decorated fence. Quiet pets are welcomed by appointment with the owner's permission.

The caravan is well equipped with all bedding, tea towels, vacuum cleaner, cleaning equipment, iron and ironing board. There are games, books and tourist information, and a cd/radio. Please bring your own hand and bath towels.

The lounge has lovely views of Parys Mountain and surrounding countryside. There is a comfortable seating area, plenty of cupboard space, a gas fire, tv and dvd player (please bring your own dvds and cds). The lounge has a dining table & chairs. Broadband internet available.

The kitchen has a gas cooker, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, electric kettle, kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery.

The hallway leads to the bathroom with a sink vanity unit, a sit down bath and shower. There is also a separate toilet.

Bedroom 1 has a double bed.

Bedroom 2 has twin beds which can be made into a double bed if requested.

This is a no smoking caravan but we do allow smoking outside in the garden.

Please bring extra blankets if required.

The location

Amlwch is minutes away. It has several take-aways, a supermarket, post office, library, launderette, leisure centre etc.

There is an abundance of culture and history on Anglesey. Parys Mountain the famous copper mine, guided tours of the mountain are available, superb countryside, great beaches with spectacular coastal walks. We are only 30 minutes from the port of Holyhead were you can book a day trip on the fast ferry which gets you to Ireland in approx 90 minutes.

Notes

Electricity, gas, bedding and welcome pack included. The welcome pack is free for weekly bookings, but not for short stays. Arrival is from 4pm, departure must be by 11am.

On booking non-refundable deposit of £50 is required, with balance due on arrival (if cash) or 2 weeks beforehand if cheque. Please don't hesitate in contacting us by phone or via the form with any enquiries.

Prices range from £250 (low season) per week to £400 per week (high season).
