The Old Granary

Family friendly 3 bedroom stone cottage with spectacular sea views and sunsets, only a 15 minute walk to the beautiful beach at Druidston Haven.

With underfloor heating and a wood burner (with fire guard) it is the perfect getaway all year round - whatever the weather!

The Old Granary is situated on Shortlands Farm, a smallholding holiday site in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

With no road or light pollution Shortlands Farm is the perfect getaway for a relaxing break in the beautiful Welsh countryside. The sound of the sea and the incredible starry skies will ensure you can switch off from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The accommodation

The Old Granary has been tastefully renovated using local and reclaimed materials including slate and stone. There is underfloor heating throughout and a wood burning stove to add to the cosy feel of the cottage.

There is a large master king-size bedroom (with sofabed), a double bedroom, and a twin bedroom.

The living room has two sofas and armchairs, with a Smart TV.

The large oak dining table and chairs will seat up to 8 people.

There is a bathroom with toilet, sink and a shower over the bath. There is also a shower room with toilet, sink and large walk-in shower.

There is a modern fitted kitchen with electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and dishwasher.

Outside is a stunning terrace with furniture for al fresco meals and glorious views over St Brides Bay.

There is parking space for two cars.

The location

The nearest food shop is Nolton Cross Farm Shop, and there is a Londis grocery store 2 miles away at Broad Haven, while an award-winning, weekly Farmers Market (Friday morning) and a choice of supermarkets is available in Haverfordwest.

The Old Granary is ideally located for exploring Pembrokeshire. The Pembrokeshire coast path is a stone's throw from the farm and the safe, sandy beach at Druidston Haven is just 10-15 minutes walk away. Whether you visit to walk the coast path, to swim or surf, to fish or for bird watching, (peregrine falcon, chough and yellowhammer all nest on the farm), this is a retreat to escape to at any time of year.

Notes

We accept dogs (maximum of 2 at a time) but ask that they are confined to the main living space and hallway.

Smoking is not permitted inside The Old Granary.

Prices include all heating, including logs and the provision of freshly-laundered bedlinen and towels.

Please ask us if you would like free use of a highchair/travel cot.

Please note that changeover day is usually Saturday.

We offer week-long bookings only during holidays.
