Persawr y Mor (meaning fragrance of the sea) is a modern house situated in a quiet cul de sac in Tywyn, where the mountains meet the sea on the edge of the Snowdonia National house backs on to the beach and offers uninterrupted views of Cardigan Bay, perfect for a relaxing holiday or an activity break.

Enjoy the panoramic sea view and ever-changing skies from the first floor balcony and ground floor bedroom and if conditions are right watch dolphins and seals at play. From the patio cross the pedestrian promenade and on to the sandy beach.

The accommodation

The first floor comprises a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and microwave and a view of the mountains while the living room balcony faces west over Cardigan Bay and offers spectacular sea views and glorious ground floor double bedroom opens out on to the patio and looks over the sea while the bunk bedroom is suitable for adults and children. A bathroom with walk in shower completes the ground house has gas central heating and double glazing throughout and is equipped with a TV with video/dvd player and a CD/radio and is outdoor furniture on the balcony and patio, and one parking space on the driveway in front of the house.

The location

There is a championship golf course at Aberdyfi and ideal walking and cycling in the area with something to suit all abilities. The Tallyllyn narrow gauge railway begins in Tywyn and heads up into the Snowdonia National Park and there are many places of historical interest to explore including Harlech with its fabulous castle and the Italianate village of Portmeirion further up the coast. The Victorian town of Tywyn offers a comprehensive range of facilities within walking distance including cinema, leisure centre with indoor pool, tennis courts, putting green and childrens; playground as well as a variety of shops, supermarkets, cafes and pubs.

Notes

Bed linen is provided, with beds made up before arrival. Bath towels, tea towels and hand towels are also included. Electricity and gas are included except during the winter months, November to March.

Sorry but we are unable to accept pets.

We also have a house next door, Awel y Mor, which is almost identical with the same spectacular views except it has a bath with shower over instead of a shower.
