Cefn Uchaf

A warm welcome awaits you at Cefn Uchaf. Translated as 'the highest ridge', Cefn Uchaf is a family run guest house set in beautiful open countryside overlooking the timeless splendour of Snowdonia's Cwm Pennant Valley.

The accommodation

Bed and Breakfast

Our large modernised farmhouse offers comfort in a friendly relaxed atmosphere. Of the 8 well-appointed twin, double and family rooms, 7 have en-suite bath or shower rooms, and 1 has a private bathroom.

All rooms have a tv, tea and coffee making facilities. Hairdryers and radio alarm clocks are provided in all rooms.

We have a large comfortable residents lounge with a log burner. There are a selection of games and books for all ages to enjoy.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast, all served at your own table. Our breakfast menu includes a selection of fruit juices, cereals, fresh fruits and yoghurts.

Home cooked evening meals are available by prior arrangement. 3 courses for £22 per person. We are not licenced, but feel free to bring a bottle of wine to enjoy with your meal. Soft drinks are available.

Local produce is used whenever possible.

Children are always welcome, and travel cots and high chairs are available free of charge, but please check the availability before booking.

Groups of walkers and cyclists are most welcome. Ironing facilities are available.

All car parking is private and off road, and we can park motorcycles and cycles under cover overnight.

Cottage

Our self-catering cottage sleeps 4 adults plus 2 children in one double bedded room, and one room with a double bed and bunk beds.

Electricity is charged by meter reading at the end of your stay. The lounge has a tv with freeview channels, DVD, video and CD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker, fridge, washer and microwave. All beds are made ready for your arrival, and towels and tea towels are provided.

The cottage is available all year round. Prices range from £195 to £460 per week depending on the time of year. Please phone or e-mail for details.
