The Shed is on a small holding, up a quiet country lane, in the idyllic countryside of the Towy Valley, between the county town of Carmarthen and the charming market town of Llandeilo.

The Shed is comprised of a shepherd's hut, containing a living/kitchen area and a bathroom (with shower), and a separate sleeping pod. They are linked by a curved decking area, perfect to relax and enjoy the beautiful views.

The accommodation

The shepherd's hut has a kitchen area with twin gas hob, fridge (with a small freezer section) and toaster, a storage cupboard, wood log burner, dining table and chairs and a sofa bed (for flexible sleeping). Linen can be provided for the sofa bed, making The Shed suitable for two guests who would like separate sleeping. Within the hut there is also a bathroom, with a small bath with shower over, wash hand basin and a Separett waterless toilet.

The sleeping pod is cosy and pine clad, with underfloor heating, where you can enjoy the stunning views directly from the double bed. In the pod there is a double bed, bedside cabinets, a rocking chair and clothes rails.

Outside, the large, decked area is perfect for al fresco dining and enjoying a glass of wine at sunset. The is also a firepit to toast some marshmallows, or pop the grill on, for a barbecue.

The location

Local attractions include the castles of Carreg Cennen, Dinefwr and Dryslwyn, The National Botanic Gardens of Wales and Aberglasney Gardens, mountain biking in Brechfa forest, and the sandy beaches of Llansteffan, Pembrey Country Park, Pendine and Tenby. For a day out of sightseeing, shopping and dining try the pretty towns of Llandeilo, Laugharne, Narberth and Tenby.
