Secluded, peaceful location, right on the Pembrokeshire coastal path. Beautifully renovated, reviving many of the original features of the cottage including the original stripped and sanded wooden floors. The roof space has large floor to ceiling sliding windows with a Juliette balcony which has sea views of Newport and Cwm yr Eglyws beaches and Carn Ingli mountain. Tastefully decorated with every home comfort. Fully fitted kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer, built-in microwave, induction hob, electric oven, Smart tv, wifi, Sky tv with Box sets and kids tv. Tempur mattress on the single bed, micro coil memory foam on one double bed and an IGel mattress on the other double. Enclosed rear garden with garden furniture and a log burner, enclosed front garden again with garden furniture. Private parking is set on a no through road.
Enclosed front and rear gardens, safe and quiet. The rear garden has a barbecue / fire chimney/log burner along with wooden garden furniture, the front garden has French style wrought iron furniture and is as quiet as the rear garden. There are buckets, spades, bats, balls, bowls, cricket provided.
We have tried to provide every comfort for your stay including, Tempur, micro coil memory foam and IGel mattress to ensure you a perfect night's sleep. Egyptian cotton bed linen and towels are all provided.
Fully fitted kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine/tumble truer, built in microwave, coffee maker etc.
Cosy living room with tv, a real open fire, comfortable sofas and gorgeous John Lewis armchair, all to relax and unwind in.
The bathroom has a WC, a large bath and an electric shower. There is a second toilet on the ground floor.
The bedrooms and bathrooms have sea views, which gives you the pleasure of escaping to enjoy the sea and mountain views either with a glass of wine, an early morning cuppa, or simply with a loved one. The second floor bedroom has large sliding patio doors with a Juliette balcony. You can Retreat , sit and enjoy view on a sunny evening or a stormy winters night.
The cottage is set on a very quiet, no-through road giving direct access to the Pembrokeshire coastal path. Within an 8 minute walk you can be on either Cwm yr Eglyws beach or Pwllgwaelod Beach where you can find the Old Sailors restaurant. There are three pubs in the village, a shop/ post office/ petrol station, tea rooms, etc. Direct bus route to cardigan, Poppit sands, Newport, Fishguard and Haverfordwest.
At your fingertips you have some of the best beaches in the country. The coastal path, the Blue lagoon, Strumble Head , Saint David's cathedral and Tenby. You can watch the seals, dolphin and porpoise at play in the bays right on your doorstep.
There are cinemas, theatres etc, theme parks.
Historical places of interest. Horse riding, fishing, you can even have a day trip to Ireland if you catch the daily ferry at Fishguard.
There are many varied boat trips around the coast, and you can even see the Puffins at Skomer Island.
Direction will be supplied on booking. Parking is on the street/lane very close to the house. Please note you are in an old fishing village and many many houses in Pembrokeshire do not have parking on site, and it is common to have to park on the road. Key code and lock box access.
