Collfryn Farm Cottages

On our working organic beef, sheep and cereal farm in the Welsh Marches, Collfryn Cottages are the perfect place to escape to the country. Converted from old farm buildings to provide high quality, superbly equipped accommodation, our five cottages, each sleeping 4 to 6, can together accommodate up to 28 guests.

The accommodation

The Stables - sleeps 6, pet allowed. A large three bedroom house with private drive, pond and orchard garden. Enclosed garden with patio area and barbecue. Woodburner.

The Dairy - sleeps 6, no pets. A large three bedroom house with a large mezzanine overlooking the lounge. Large shared garden with patio and sitting area, barbecue available. Woodburner.

Field House - sleeps 6, no pets. A large three bedroom house overlooking fields, garden and courtyard. Large shared garden with patio and sitting area, barbecue available. Woodburner.

Mill Barn - sleeps 4, pet allowed. A single storey two-bedroomed cottage with access to a large pond and gardens. Large shared garden with patio and sitting area, barbecue available. Woodburner.

The Cottage - sleeps 4, no pets. A beautiful two bedroomed cottage with a small paved courtyard overlooking the working organic farm, orchard and landscaped garden. Access to large shared garden with pond, patio and sitting area. Barbecue available. Woodburner.

The location

The nearest village, 3 miles away, is Llansantffraid. There you will find a filling station, convenience stores, a restaurant, take-aways and pubs.

Nearby, you can explore the Llanymynech Nature Reserve, the old canals, and take a trip on the Llanfair Light railway. We are within easy reach of medieval Shrewbury and the historic city of Chester.

To experience the rural landscapes of North Wales, visit Lake Vyrnwy and the spectacular waterfall at Pistyll Rheadr.

Notes

All cottages have wifi internet access, Freesat tv and dvd player and music system. Bed linen and towels are included, and a highchair and cot are available on request. Checkin from 3pm, departure by 10am.
