The Buck House Hotel enjoys a lovely riverside setting in the pretty North Wales village of Bangor on Dee and is an excellent base for visiting Wrexham, Chester, Shrewsbury and North Wales, whether your stay is for business or pleasure.
We have 7 spacious yet homely rooms which are all en-suite and have hot drinks facilities.
Downstairs there's four warm and welcoming bars where you can enjoy a range of cask beers including Plassey Bitter, Salopian and Hafod, alongside lagers, wines and spirits. Our food menu includes steak, lasagne, steak and ale pie, sandwiches and award winning burgers. We also allow dogs in here.
The Bucks Sports Bar has two large wide screen televisions where you can relax and watch the latest, rugby, football and darts matches.
The Huntsman Bar is warm and intimate, making it ideal for peaceful pint and a chat, it’s also just right for small meetings and gatherings including our quiz nights.
The Lounge is different again and is full of character with its handsome beams, it's also where we hold our music nights featuring local musicians. And it's the ideal place to enjoy a meal and a get together with your friends and loved ones.
Our Bucks Function Room can accommodate up to 60 and has it's own bar, providing privacy for larger groups making it excellent for family gatherings and meetings.
Dogs are allowed in the Buck Sports Bar.
