Gwynfa is a fully equipped self catering cottage located on the banks of the River Colwyn, in the picturesque, award winning village of Beddgelert in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park.

Recently refurbished to a very high standard, Gwynfa boasts private parking at the side of the property yet is only a few minutes walk from the village amenities.

The accommodation

Downstairs is a lounge with comfy seating and a log-burning stove. There is a 39" flat screen tv with freeview and freesat and a dvd player. Free WiFi is available.

The fully equipped fitted kitchen includes a gas hob, an electric oven with extractor fan, fridge/freezer, washer drier, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is plenty of storage space and a full compliment of crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and other kitchen utensils. All cleaning equipment and tea towels are provided.

There is a downstairs bathroom with an electric shower, basin and wc.

Stairs from the lounge lead upstairs where there are three bedrooms and a bathroom.

The bedroom overlooking the river has a kingsize bed, the front bedroom has a double bed and the third bedroom is fitted with bunk beds. All bedrooms have their own wardrobe and drawer space.

All bed linen and towels are provided.

The upstairs bathroom has a corner bath, separate electric shower, basin and wc.

Outside there is a private patio overlooking the river towards Moel Hebog, the Beddgelert station for the Welsh Highland Railway is in view. A gas barbecue is provided along with a table and six chairs.

The cottage is fitted with night storage heaters and electricity is included in the cost.

Pets are very welcome. The cottage is non smoking.

Our area

The cottage makes an ideal centre for a relaxing or active holiday as its setting provides easy access to paths up Snowdon, yet is only 8 miles from the coast and a mile from the Beddgelert Forest. You can walk, bike ride, horse ride, climb, canoe, sail, play golf, fish or just relax.

Notes

We are open all year round and have a change over day of Saturday, but this can be changed with negotiation. Short breaks of 3 nights and 4 nights are available - please enquire for prices.
