Ann's Bungalow is a well-presented, welcoming property all on one level and maintained with pride. On arrival guests should be impressed with the well manicured lawns and flower beds, a fabulous indoor luxury hot tub, attractive modern decor and furnishings and superb cleanliness making all the difference to their overall holiday experience. Situated in a rural location at the foothills of the Brecon Beacons, it is the perfect place to enjoy some peace and tranquility, far away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Surrounded by unspoilt countryside and with footpaths leading in all directions making this the perfect location for keen walkers. Easy access to Pen-y-fan and all the main peaks in the Brecon Beacons mountain range, with the added bonus of not having to use the car each day. So pack a picnic, put on some sturdy walking boots, choose a route and head out to explore.
The Brecon Beacons provides a stunning backdrop for a range of activities and sports including horse riding and cycling. The property is centrally located for sightseeing Mid Wales and visiting the many attractions this stunning area has to offer. Bird life is abundant and a small pond recently created now provides a well established habitat for wildlife. The clear unpolluted sky provides wonderful starlit nights ideal for stargazing.
Kitchen/dining room: Well equipped with an electric range cooker housed in an inglenook, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, filter coffee maker, toaster, kettle and a wall mounted freeview tv. An antique pine dresser and dining furniture to seat six people. A washing machine and tumble dryer are housed in the porch extension area. All china, pots, pans and cutlery are provided in fact everything you need to have a comfortable stress free stay.
Sitting room: Light, airy and spacious and a feature of the property has to be the large panoramic window framing the breathtaking views across the rolling patchwork fields with farm animals and woodland. The sitting room is tastefully furnished with soft leather two and three seater sofas and co-ordinating curtains and cushions. A very efficient real flame effect wood burning stove is set in an inglenook. 50" Sky tv with video, dvd and cd players.
Bedrooms:- Bedroom 1 has a luxuriously dressed king size bed. A wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets all in antique pine. A wall mounted slimline Sky tv.
Bedroom 2 has a double bed, a feature wall with co-ordinating bed linen and curtains and complimented with cream bedroom furniture.
Bedroom 3 has identical twin beds and a fitted wardrobe set in an alcove.
Quality bed linen, pillows and duvets are all provided and beds made up ready for your arrival, plus additional welsh woollen blankets for winter to ensure a comfortable five star night's sleep.
Travel cot, baby bath and high chair are available on request.
Bathroom: The bathroom is fully tiled and has a rectangular anti-slip bath with hand rails and a Mira Sport Max shower over. A wash station with ceramic top over a base unit and toilet. An electric towel warmer, overhead fan heater, shaver socket and extendable shaving mirror.
There is also a separate cloakroom with toilet and washbasin and electric towel warmer in the entrance porch area.
Egyptian cotton towels are provided - one bath towel and one hand towel per person.
To the front of the property is a large enclosed and well manicured lawned area surrounded by border shrubs and having the added bonus of a log cabin which features a fabulous luxury hot tub seating 6 persons which is available for your use by arrangement with the owner. From the hot tub you can relax and enjoy the views whatever the weather and time of year.
Just over the road is a viewing point with a seating area, a mountain stream and a bird feeding station which attracts several woodpeckers and a variety of other birds overlooking the wild flower meadow and wildlife pond already home to Canadian geese, ducks and herons.
To the rear of the Bungalow is a patio area with garden seating, a gas barbecue and a rotary clothes airer. Also a lawn surrounded by shrubs and pot plants and a private parking area for one car. Adjoining this is a children's play area with swing, slides, see-saw and outdoor toys. Additional parking is available on the courtyard.
