In the heart of the Stunning Snowdonia National Park, The Lodge at Plas y Nant is set in a spectacular valley in the foothills of mount Snowdon and enjoys magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and countryside. Ideally located for exploring the beautiful National Park, climbing mount Snowdon, walking one of the many local circular walks, or visiting the local towns and villages at Beddgelert, Llanberis, Caernarfon, Porthmadog, Betws y Coed, Conwy and Llandudno, in addition to the superb beaches of the Llyn Peninsula and the Isle of Anglesey. Why not have a car free day and ride the Welsh Highland steam railway directly from the property. There are mountains, lakes, countryside, castles, villages and beaches, all within easy reach, Snowdonia is spectacular at any time of the year.
The accommodation which is completely private and stands adjacent to the owners residence, has one double bedroom with a double bed and can accommodate up to 4 people (2plus2) with the use of the double sofa bed in the lounge.
The lodge has a cosy lounge with a wood burning stove (complimentary basket of logs) set into a stone fireplace, ceiling beams, leather sofa bed, two fireside chairs, freesat tv with dvd player and free wifi, through to a large well equipped farmhouse-style country kitchen, complete with dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, microwave and dining table with four chairs.
The luxurious and spacious bathroom has a large bath with a powerful shower over, hand wash basin and wc. Towels and linen provided for the duration of your stay.
The comfortable bedroom with exposed wooden floorboards and ceiling beams, has a double sized bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers.
The accommodation is centrally heated with double glazing throughout (electric and heating costs included). A highchair and travel cot can be provided on request.
Outside is a patio seating area with views of the surrounding mountains and countryside, and private off road parking. Pets are welcome. There is no smoking inside the property.

What a wonderful holiday, great location for walking, cycling and getting about, but also relaxing being in such beautiful surroundings, loved the cottage especially the huge bath, hope to be back again Catherine and Andrew Leeds.
We appreciated the comfort and beautiful location of this place, a special bonus was the close proximity of the Welsh Highland Railway, being able to walk to Snowdon's summit directly from the cottage was a real spoil John and Jeanette Guildford.

Fantastic base to explore North Wales and Anglesey, lovely relaxing place to come back to, peaceful idyllic location, our four year old son loved Elephant mountain and the passing steam trains, we'll definitely be back again. Steve, Linda and James, Liverpool.

A very brief stay, but the Lodge is ideally located, its warm, cosy and perfect for two or a small family. We've really enjoyed ourselves here and will consider staying again the next time we are in the area, will certainly recommend it to our friends and family The Bassetts.

Situated in the Snowdonia National Park midway between the picturesque village of Beddgelert to the south and the Royal town of Caernarfon to the north, the beautiful isle of Anglesey with its lovely beaches, and the harbour town of Porthmadog are only a short drive away.
Amongst the many other interesting places to visit, the villages of Llanberis and Betws y Coed are within easy reach.
For those seeking a quiet escape or outdoor activity break, you will find walking, mountain climbing, cycling ,mountain bike riding, golfing, fishing, horse riding, canoeing, pleasure boat trips, Rib rides, The Welsh Highland Railway, Snowdon Mountain Railway, slate and copper mines, visiting a castle, waterfalls, helicopter flights, swimming in a lake, Zip World, Surf Snowdonia or excellent beaches all within easy reach.
The Snowdon Ranger path is within one mile and the beautiful Llyn Cwellyn (Lake Cwellyn) is only a short walk from the property.
