Holiday chalet, Nolton Haven

Sleeps 4, 2 bedrooms
£500 per week
  • No smoking
  • Pets welcome
  • Child friendly

Fulmar chalet is situated in the beautiful Pembrokeshire National Coastal Park, just a short drive from Haverfordwest and St Davids and only 7 minutes walk to the quiet sandy cove of Nolton haven which is in the centre of St Brides Bay. This makes it an ideal base from which to explore this unspoilt corner of the world with its wealth of wildlife, picturesque scenery and sandy beaches.

The accommodation

In the lounge there is a widescreen tv, satellite freeview and a dvd/video player.

Outside there is a front balcony perfect for catching the morning sun; there is also picnic bench in the front garden area. At the back there is a small private 'sun trap' patio which has a little gate perfect if you want to keep your pet or a small child from wandering off. This gets the sun all afternoon and has comfortable garden furniture.

The bathroom has bath with an electric shower, basin, loo, and a door to the washing machine.

Bedroom 1 has a double bed. Bedroom 2 has twin beds; there is also a camp bed but please mention it if you intend to use it as there will be a small extra charge for bed linen and we really recommend that Fulmar is only suitable for 4 people.

Bedding, a tea towel and electricity are included in the price.

Our changeover day is Sunday as we feel it is an easier day to travel. During the off peak season we welcome short breaks. Check in is 3pm and check out is 11am.

Our area

From rock pooling to surfing, from bird watching to coasteering the list of outdoor pursuits is endless. A visit to the off shore islands is well recommended and if you are lucky enough to visit between May and mid July you may have close encounters with the visiting puffins, razorbills and guillemots. We have been lucky enough to have a pod of porpoise swim alongside the boat once on the way back from a trip to Skomer Island. In September keep your eye out for seal pups and throughout the year the rugged cliffs and caves never cease to amaze. Closer to home there is a play area exclusively for the use of Folkeston Hill residents which includes swings, bars and a slide with a picnic table and bench so you can enjoy the sea view whilst the children play. As it gets dark just sit in the chalet and you may spy a badger walking past the front door.

There are plenty of pubs and restaurants in the area and we particularly recommend the restaurant at Druidstone for its food but most of all for its amazing view; but if you like to eat in, the kitchen is fully equipped and includes an electric hob and oven, fridge, separate freezer and microwave.
