The Fedw is a working farm which is home to sheep, cattle, horses and dogs, much wildlife including red kites, owls, buzzards and herons.

We offer a hearty home cooked locally sourced Welsh breakfast which should keep you going throughout the day.

The accommodation

This farmhouse accommodation is situated in the spectacular Radnorshire countryside. Built in the 16th Century as a hunting lodge, The Fedw still has many original features, including the inglenook fireplace in the guest lounge and the 5ft wide Jacobean oak stair case.

Guests have ample parking and secure garaging for bikes if necessary, and there is a separate entrance for guest with porch for walking boots etc if required. This is an ideal base for walkers, cyclist, touring or just anyone wanting to enjoy the peacefulness of the countryside.

The guest accommodation offers spectacular views over the undiscovered beauty of heart of Wales. The guest rooms consist of a double and a single en-suite with a twin rooms with private bathroom available on request. All rooms have a television, radio and hospitality trays. There is a separate comfortable lounge with a large wood burning stove for those cold winters' evenings. This opens onto a decked seating area from where you can enjoy fantastic views of the wonderful Radnorshire countryside.

The location

The Fedw is within easy reach of the Elan Valley Dams (18 miles), Builth Wells home of the Royal Welsh Show (7 miles), Brecon Beacons (30 miles) and the Radnor Forest is on our doorstep. Llandrindod Wells is 12 miles away as is the border town of Kington.

The Fedw is on the main A481, just 2 miles from the A44 junction and miles from the village of Hundred House.
