This homely bungalow is in Limeslade, just outside Mumbles, on the Gower Peninsula, in a quiet cul-de-sac with no through traffic.
The bungalow has two bedrooms, one double one twin both with fitted wardrobes, chest of drawers, wall lights and fitted carpets. Fitted kitchen including automatic washing machine, microwave oven, electric cooker, fridge freezer iron and ironing board.
Bathroom includes bath with electric shower over.
The lounge has a three seater settee, armchair, coffee table, sideboard and unit containing television with basic satellite and dvd player. There is a landline telephone with an honesty box also wifi
Hot water is provided by an immersion heater in the airing cupboard. General heating is via oil-filled electric radiators.
Area information
The bungalow is five minutes walk from the nearest beach, and within easy reach of all the Gower beaches and coves. Close by you will find access to the cliff paths which offer a panoramic view of the Bristol Channel, also within walking distance is Mumbles Pier and promenade.
Oystermouth village is just a 5 minutes drive, and has branches of all four major banks, a post office, chemists, a host of small independent retailers, a taxi company and car parks.
Swansea is a short distance away and has all the amenities that a big city can offer including cinemas, tenpin bowling, leisure centre, theatre, museums and the marina. At night a host of bars, cafes and clubs come to life for the younger or more energetic element.
Local attractions
Various activities include sailing, surfing, windsurfing, fishing, horse riding, boat trips, rambling or just relaxing on the beaches.
Annual events that take place in or around the village include Mumbles Navy Day (May), Mostly Blues and Jazz (May), Gower Walking Festival (June) and the RNLI Raft Race (August). Oystermouth Castle, open to the public, is just a short walk from the seafront in the village.
Eating out in the village can be a relaxing and enjoyable experience. A wide and varied cuisine is on offer which should suit most appetites. There are also numerous take-aways.
If you wish to eat in the bungalow there are two supermarkets, greengrocers, butcher and fishmonger which can cater for your every need.
A local farmers market is held in the village on the second Saturday of every month selling local produce from the farms and waters around the Gower.
Payment information
The rental price is all inclusive, except for bed linen and towels. Bed linen can be supplied at a small extra charge.
A non-refundable 30% deposit is payable at time of booking, with the outstanding fees payable 28 days before holiday commences. No refunds can be given if the stay is cancelled within 28 days of the holiday commencement.
