Gardd Llygad Y Dydd

Hen Beudy is set among farmland on the southern slopes of the Snowdon range, surrounded by beautiful and tranquil countryside; yet an easy accessible 300m along a well surfaced single track (cul de sac) from a country lane near Nantmor. Secluded, hidden and peaceful. The owners live a half km distance away on a working farm.

This old barn, until the last century, belonged to the old farmhouse Llwyn Celyn. Over the centuries four lean-to's were added. On the large, west facing terrace you have panoramic 270 degrees view over fields, trees and hills in south, west and north.

The accommodation

Ground floor: Covered terrace with garden furniture and barbecue.

Front door to kitchen/diner/lounge area. Fridge-freezer, microwave, electric cooker, dishwasher, kettle, toaster. Video/DVD player, CD player, wifi.

'Main Bedroom': a super-king-size double bed (6ft wide). Cot available on request. Door to terrace.

Small 'Bunk Bedroom', sleeps two in adult sized bunk beds.

Bathroom with wc, wash basin, open shower and towel heater

Five steps up from the dining area:

'Gallery Bedroom': a super-king-size (6ft wide) double bed) and a bench. Cot available only on request. En suite (wc, wash basin and open shower and towel heater).

Family bathroom: (wc, wash basin and roll-top bath and towel heater).

Three steps down: ' Round Bedroom' with a double bed. One single bed - a high sleeper - over it.

Rather steep stairs to 'Crogloft Bedroom' with a low, double bed under the eaves and a single bed.

The bedrooms have wooden floors. All other floors are tiled.

Oil Central Heating.

In the shed a washing machine, a tumble dryer and a small fridge.

Blankets, duvets and pillows are provided without bed linen for you to bring your own. We'll make the beds with 100% cotton bed linen for £20 for a double, £15 for a single bed.

Stair guard, high chair available on request.

Private car parking.

Well behaved pets may be allowed by arrangement at £5 per pet per night.

When number of people in party exceeds 10 an extra charge of £15 per extra person per night is made.

Energy is metered and charged by usage, per unit electric 20 pence and oil 30 pence.
