The accommodation

This luxury house has three bedrooms - two doubles and a twin, with sea views from the double room. There is an adjoining bathroom with bath, separate shower, toilet and his and hers sinks. All beds have duvets.

The middle level contains a well equipped fitted kitchen area with eye level oven/grill, induction hob, dishwasher, washing/drier machine, fridge freezer, and all the mod cons of a luxury seaside house including a tide clock.

There is a large dining table and living space with two leather Chesterfields, flat screen TV with Freesat, DVD, video and CD player. This area opens out to an enclosed balcony with views of the sea and nature reserve which attracts an abundance of wildlife - often an excellent view of the sunset over the sea can be seen from the rear of the property. We now have stairs from the balcony to the decked garden. Great for eating al fresco.

Wifi internet access is included.

There is a large selection of games to play for both adults and children and a selection of DVDs and videos.

Ground floor includes a downstairs toilet, shower room and the third bedroom opening out onto a fully decked enclosed garden where you can relax in the deck chairs looking out to sea. There is also a patio table with 6 chairs.

You can leave your car on the driveway at the front of the property. There is no smoking in the house, and sorry pets are not allowed.

There are no extras. Heating, electricity and hot water are all included.

Changeover day is Friday. We can be flexible about this during certain times.

Our area

There is a good choice of restaurants and public houses within walking distance, enjoy the walk along the beach to Little Haven and dining at the Castle or sitting in the leather armchairs by the log fire at The Swan. For simple honest food the cafe next to the surf shop is good. Sunday lunches at The Swan in Little Haven and also The Ocean in Broad Haven are a delight.

For provisions we use either the Londis on the front (open 8am to 9pm) which even sells freshly baked croissants and pain au chocolate, or the 24 hour Tesco which is 5 miles away on the road from Haverfordwest.

Eating out: In Broad Haven: The Ocean, good food, loads of it and in a beautiful restaurant with fantastic views. The Galleon - good pub food, beers and wines. Cafe and take away - fish and chips and other favorites. In nearby Little Haven The Castle pub serves great home cooked food. The Swan gastropub, excellent food.

There are many beautiful sights to take in both in and around Broad Haven and the surrounding areas. Broad Haven beach has been awarded 'Blue Flag' status for its high quality water, facilities and safety. Children and adults love exploring the rock pools. You can take a boat trip from nearby Dale to see the sea life of the area, consisting of an abundance of seabirds (puffins, manx shearwater), seals and even dolphins on a good day. There are plenty of castles to visit and the children will love Oakwood, Folly Farm and Heatherton.

You could walk along part of the coastal path and catch the Puffin Shuttle back, a good stretch is to walk to Solva and catch the 1pm or 5pm Shuttle back, alternatively you could catch the Puffin Shuttle in the morning from Broad Haven and walk back along the coastal path.

Beach Riding Nolton Haven - the hour rides are our most popular because we can accommodate all abilities. The hour beach ride goes to Druidston Haven. This peaceful and majestic natural beach is situated just over a mile from the Stables. Druidston is nationally renowned for its fascinating geological features and 'Telly Tubby House' (you will only understand what this means by coming and seeing). When the tide is right out there can be up to a mile of sand and we are able to ride on it all year round.

Paintballing at Heatherton - the very best place to play paintball in Wales with five unique battle zones in 10 acres of glorious woodland, bushes and marshes featuring a number of different missions that will challenge all. Paintball combines teamwork, action and adventure enjoyed by males and females, young and old alike.
